FRANK PERSON
was born 1963 in Aschaffenburg and lives in Darmstadt.
Completetd an apprenticeship in blowing glass at the Glasfachschule Hadamar and studied industrial design at the Fachhoch-schule Darmstadt.
1993 he had been co-founder and -owner of orange design. Since 2000 he runs his own studio fp.formgebung.
His work focusses on the items of the every-day-life. Well-functioning, long-lasting and a sensible materials handling characterize his concepts. For Frank Person, emotional design and reduction to the essential is not a contradiction but a pretension.
He works for companies e.g. Koziol, Erlau, Wella, Glaskoch, Nusser, Steng Licht, Weihshäupl, Kusch+Co.
